British Asian Actor Armaan Kirmani also makes his debut in this film as Akshay's brother. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mukesh Talreja, Krishan Kumar and Twinkle Khanna under the banner of People Tree Films, Credence Motion Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment. The film released on 11 February 2011. Theatrical trailer of the movie was premièred with Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan on December 24, 2010. Akshay Kumar plays the role of a fast bowler, loosely based upon Monty Panesar. The film had its premier on 10 February 2011 in Patiala.
